Anika, finally. It's the day I've been thinking about since the moment you told me your birthday. And now the day is here.

You know what? This is the day the world got a little brighter. Finding someone like you felt like a fantasy to me, something I never thought was real. Until I met you.

We're miles apart. I've never stood next to you, never heard your laugh in the same room. But somehow you're the one who feels closest to me. You're the first person I want to tell things to. Your messages can turn my whole day around.

I never thought a online friend can be this real. You listen. You care. You make me feel less alone, even with so many miles between us. I never got to hug you or sit next to you, but I feel you here anyway.
